My playroom is actually two rooms that are joined by an open door way. The tile room is 16 X 16, this is where we eat, do our messy play and art projects. In here we have the cubbies, one for each child to store their personal belongings. The door leads to the back yard and play area.

The daycare kitchen is also located in the tile room. I am able to prepare and serve most all of our meals and snacks here as well as clean up after our messy art projects!

The sensory table is great ( messy ) fun. In this photo we have dry oatmeal and assorted measuring cups in it. Other favorites include water, sand, rice and snow.

The second part of the playroom is carpeted. This angle shows the fish wall, kid's computer and train table.

This is our housekeeping and dress up area. There is a wide variety of dramatic play materials available to the kids here.

The bookshelf sits in front of "the pit".

The pit is a 5X5 section of the room with half walls. It's a great place for things like Lego's and Barbies, with all of those small pieces that seem to end up all over the room.
