These are the changing table in our small bathroom. We didn't have a lot of space so we built this one that folds up and stores neatly over the toilet.

These pics are of our version of a school bus. It's just our steps painted like a school bus and plexi-glass for one of the back risers.

The inside of the bus is made from a broomstick with 2x4 scraps strung on the broom stick fro peddles. We used wheels from an old doll stroller for steering wheels.

This is a picture of the plexi-glass frames we have all around the playroom and this one in the bathroom. We didn't like having the babies ripping the pictures off the walls. I got the idea from the school supplies catalogs but their prices are too high so we made our own.

Books On Tape area: It is under the stairs and behind the bathroom. It faces the inside of the bus.

Books on tape area: My son built it up on a platform just for fun because kids love that kind of thing. The bench was made with plastic shelves that we turned on their back and added boards for seats. The bath mat was just one I was going to toss but thought it made that space a little more cozy.

These are pictures of how we mark the difficulty of the puzzles we store. One mark on the edge = easy Two marks = more difficult Three marks = challenging

We had space under my husbands train table (4ft. high) that needed to be used. We bought a large tarp and cut and sewed it to fit snuggly in that space. We gave it a full bottom, full sides on three sides and a 12" front so they can enter and a light on the ceiling. Filled it with 80 lbs. of rice.

Sensory Area: When not in use we put a two sided wooden activity board to the front.

This picture is of the step stools we use as chairs for the kids. They stack nicely, do not tip over and if you have a very small child you can stack two or even three together to make the height right. Can you see the two highchairs (one blue and one white) that clip to the table?? They are such space savers and easy to store when not in use.

This area is our home made light table. My son made it for me. We used a piece of bumpy plastic that is suppose to be used in ceilings to cover florescent lights and a piece of plexi-glass that I got from an old fish tank. Above the light table is another plexi-glass picture protector and rain gutters for storage.

We took the doors off an old cupboard and the back off, put boards in the front to make bins and use it as a two sided blocks center. There is even a nice little space on the one side to slide the lego boards under.

We sometimes use the little mattress stored to the side when we change children (not diapers) and need to stay in the same room with the others.

We used to try to print newsletters but discovered a lot of them still laying around for weeks after the parents were suppose to take them home. We no longer print newsletters but do use our entrance door as an enlarged newsletter. Amazingly, every parent stops by to read it when it goes up. They love looking at the pictures and, of course, search out their own little darling amongst the rest :)

This is a really bad picture but the bike was a great investment. They wanted me to sit on the center post this morning and then they got going and wouldn't let me off!
